  1. A great lecture on this topic and very informative I may add. Although I do believe nihilism isn’t about negativity or pessimism or anything that puts some sort of value or meaning on anything but that we as humans cannot put values on things or give them actual meaning but nihilism is a way of taking in the universe, nature, and so forth, all within an observational standpoint. Whereas we are not meant or cannot place value or meaning in the universe for things but take it for what it is. Accept it and move on. However from the perspective of being human although we cannot uphold such authority onto the universe we are given life so we live to achieve. How those achievements are done are of our own personal goals and desires. Desires and goals have no meaning but are more accomplishments we wish to achieve. Adding certain morality to the desire or goal will give it meaning or value. It’s a complex topic to comprehend but I outright agree with nihilism in its implications and implementation however I do not set a positive or negative value on nihilism as that is against itself as what it is defined as. More so it is what it is. Take it or leave it. Do with it what you want but the actions don’t matter how you do the actions is what matters. From a nihilistic standpoint, that is.
