  1. Triple PAID FOR. I paid my high rate taxes, my NICs then the SERPS - who remembers that?- promised enhanced State Pension for additional Contributions and then told that instead they had 'unified' it so I wouldn't get more than the usual. My taxed private income was then invested and now my private pension is taxed as income!! THAT IS A TRIPLE LOCK of no benefit to me.
