@PeterFailey-Smith I am seriously saying that Reform will replace the Tories - it is not the same thing.

@mellarner8253 Why make a pointless comment the? It is also irrelavent to mine. One Farage in the Commons will be a better Opposition to Labour and the 100 Tories who are returned.

Let's kill this of right now for good! 1) Farage left the Tories in 1992. 2) Farage has led his own parties to three national election victories and also took one to third in the popular GE vote. 3) The Tories have always hated him. Farage described them a day ago as 'a brand that is dead'. 4) the vast majority of Tory MPs are 'One Nation' at least 300, they hate Brexit, Johnson and let alone Farage. 5) Farage did an electoral pact in GE 2019 with Johnson and the result was that Johnson did nothing with his majority, not even negotiate Brexit properly. 6) Some, a handful, of Tory MPs have suggested that Farage join them. Farage said 'NO' HE Whe would not consider it. There was a general statement made by the MSM that farage and Reform might repeat the 2019 deal. Farage asked the rehetorical question "What can they off er us?" The answer is NOTHING. 7) There is no mechanism to take over the Tory party other than CCHQ which is under Sunak 'One Nation' group control. 8) Assume Farage became Tory leader - within a short period he would be ousted like May, Johnson, Truss and if necessary Sunak. Who would be stupid enough to do that!
