shamanism is not paganism, norse people did not have shamans, they had seidr which is not shamanism.

@shanesorensen7878 well I guess you know more than 99% of experts on this field who say what the old norse people practiced is not shamanism but their own category, not saying they're absolutely super different, ofc they had some similarities, but it's not the same. I think you are not able to differentiate between the 2 or you want that the old norse practiced shamanism.

Norse people didn't call themselves shamans and didn't work in a shamanic way, volva or the male equivalent was practicing seidr.
