I pretty sure Cuba has mostly Gross Micheal bananas, they look more like the ones that you were sent, and from what I can remember from my handful of trips there they did taste fantastic, I thought it was just the booze at the time, not knowing there was actually a difference. Plus it seemed like every meal had bananas on the side or as decoration on a plate, never realized the significance at the time, but I’m glad that I do now.

I worked alongside a Greek Cyprian in his mid Sixties in Canada, he had explained this situation and what he went through, I thought I understood it at the time, but this gives it a whole new light, a visual, of the entire elaborated history, I greatly appreciate this, it hits home for me, and I feel very connected to it for some reason.
