  7. The precursor to the Lib Dems got 25% of the vote in the past and got 11 seats. Farage et al loved the FPTP system when it put his favourites in charge.

  13. PR has been needed since the Lib Dems were denied seats in 1983 by the FPTP system. We've now got even more parties representing left, middle and right opinions.
