  1.  @nezzam100  Nuclear is a good option but who would the Government get to build it? The French and the Chinese... Successive Governments have failed to spend the money because they're short termists who won't invest in infrastructure unless their mates get the profits. The oil and gas lobby won't like Nuclear.

  3. Having solar and wind in the energy mix has reduced our reliance on fossil fuels from Russia and the oil from the Middle East. A good thing rather than relying on undemocratic countries.

  4. Those alternative energy sources reduce the reliance on gas. Getting rid of them makes us more reliant on Russian fuel. Your logic is flawed.
