  1. So why did Arab families leave with their keys? Doesn't this indicate that they were hoping to return when the Jews had been massacred? There may not have been broadcasts, but cautioning people to leave could have been spread by multiple other means. Wealthy Arabs were well-connected and they seemed to know ahead of time that war was imminent. The Partition of India in 1947 occurred in a similar period, and that saw the build-up of enormous fear in villages prior to the time of actual Partition. This involved more than 13 million people. Do these displaced South Asians still moan and whine TODAY about having to flee from their homes? No. Do they get billions of dollars in funding? No. They accepted the reality that when new countries are formed, and you find you don't quite "fit" with the new country's values or its people, you move on and begin a new life in another suitable place. I'm tired of the nitpicking and all the talk about this myth, or that myth. Stop seeing the so-called 'Palestinians' as perpetual victims...🙄

  6. I have a friend who is proud to identify as "Lebanese Christian". I've also met Lebanese Muslims who make it clear that Islam is their primary allegiance. Can you really speak for ALL Lebanese people? 🙄

  7. DNA is not a criteria for being a member of a unique "indigenous" group of peoples.

  8.  @WUB0105 : To qualify for membership of an “indigenous group” you need to have a connection to that group’s unique culture, language, value systems, ancestral burial sites, traditions, and places of gathering and worship in that specific land. It doesn’t matter where in the world you’ve been displaced to, if you have prayers that say “next year in Jerusalem” you are a member. Christians from the region of Palestine are close to Jews because Jesus was an indigenous Jew, and Samaritans are a similar indigenous group to the Jewish people, but Muslims have converted OUT of the Jewish indigenous group. Their focus is now on Mecca in Saudi Arabia, they speak Arabic, they practice Islam’s Ramadan and Eid, so are no longer members of their original group, regardless of their DNA. Does that help?

  10. A large proportion of 'Palestinians' only arrived AFTER the Ottoman Turks and Arabs of Palestine were DEFEATED in WWI. They arrived as economic migrants, after the British and Zionist Jews created opportunities for them. Similar to how Muslims are flooding into Europe today, looking for employment and social welfare. Why should these 'Palestinians' get their own country? What precedent is this based on? Why didn't the #indigenous Kurds also get a state when the Ottoman Empire handed over its land in the terms of the 1918 Armistice Agreement? The Arabs of the Hejaz (who fought with the British, as did the Jews) were given control of 99% of the Ottoman Middle East land, ie. Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Israel is one-fifth Arab citizens. That's still not enough for you? Would no Jews at all be your goal?🙄

  11. Do you think Arab Muslim 'Palestinians' would ever accept citizenship in the Jewish state of Israel? It's better that they be assisted to resettle elsewhere by UNHCR.
