@Medieval scholar I agree. I've been coming to Egypt for over 20 years and I'm very impressed with the development of new infrastructure and improved security in recent years.

@Steyr32 Do you live in Egypt? Even the Egyptian engineers aren't sure of the full effect yet. It's a hydroelectric dam, so don't be so full of doom and gloom. Ethiopia deserves to generate electricity, and I'm pretty sure that Sudan-Egypt will find solutions to potential water flow shortages. It's when a big drought occurs that there could be real problems. I'm living in South Sinai, a thriving tourist area, where all the water we use is desalinated.
