In fact the "Diaspora" was created by the Greeks leaving a few guys behind to sell the merchandise at their leisure, so the ship can sail back to Greece right away. Most of the first "Jews" were 100% Greeks, but they later started recruiting locals (at the Trade Colonies) to do the retail sales. The Greeks did not invent "Hebrew/Phoenician" until ~300 BCE and it was an artificial language similar to Esperanto and Klingon, used for encrypted mail.
