@justsilas37 This mate is true , in the last 30 years, Russia has invaded many countries with the intent to annex, when Russia had the Warsaw pact , expansion wasn't an issue as they were doing it , NATO never said they would not take on any more Eastern European countries , Gorbachev clarified that, Iranian separatists were backed by Russia , and Prigozhin and other Russian sources admitted that the atrocities in the Donbas were Russian backed and infiltrated separatists .

Crimea if you want to be pedantic technically belongs to the Tartars , they were the victim of one one of the largest incidents of ethnic cleansing by Russia we have seen, on a par with Nazi Germany . Donbas was admitted by Prigozhin to be Russian separatists and not Ukrainian caused

@sylviesirikhun9321 I'm afraid it's not offered translation and many years since spoke any french so it is a bit Rusty , however I get the idea and would like to say I'm not American, and whilst I kind of agree, Russia has a history of the same, recently Georgia , Chechnya and Crimea , in the past Poland , Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Lithuania, etc etc etc and hence why often they have bases there. These folks have chosen this , not so with those that Russia actually invaded with a wish to Annex. And let's not forget Berlin , I had a family member trapped behind that wall and polish friends who lived behind that iron curtain. They still had ration cards in the 80's. There is much to learn about Russia , it's not the people, it's a beautiful country, its the leadership.
