  1. Freedom of speech is the "RIGHT TO OFFEND"''; pure & simple!! In hypocritical Indian political & societal echo system though, mocking the majority religion is free speech but if you mock any other religion then all hell breaks loose!! Since a very, long time, Bollywood movies have been mocking & insulting Hindus while Islam & Christianity were shown as kind & pious! Yet!! In history, be it in Indian sub continent, Spain/Europe, Asia, Americas or Africa, the record is anything but kind or peaceful!! That said, Indic religious & philosophies are infinitely way more tolerant than anything that came out of the deserts!!

Else, Christianity was as violent if not more than the peaceful & their brutal history all around the world is proof. Christians changed though somewhat after European renaissance & industrial revolution that was literally made possible by the Indic culture & civilzation!
