  2. Have people not worked and paid taxes for those kid's education and health care? What of those people who cannot have children?

  3. Is this a welcoming world to bring a child into? Young people cannot afford to buy houses. Society financially punishes women for having children - see the news this week that women would need to work 19 years more than men to match them for pensions. Having children creates a net loss so unless someone really loves children, they won't choose to have them.
