In the event of the world war, every single NATO European country can be wiped off the map very easily due to their close proximity. Now I don't know about you, but there's something about human nature where they do not like to die for something that doesn't concern them. Ukraine is of the previous Soviet Union, it has never been NATO or America business there. Even Poland is none of your business from the first place.
