@JimLambier In the 1980's I had a 1974 VW Beetle that, unbeknownst to me, had developed a micro-crack in the condenser. It would not start if it had been dry that day, but it WOULD start if I poured a gallon of water over the engine. I actually convinced a coworker that my car ran on water with that trick. - Of course, I later replaced the condenser. Only to have, a year later, the hydrostatic transmission decide to be an undifferentiated pan of shattered gear pieces.

There is a used car dealer near me that has a Little Tykes car bolted to their sign stand. - Edit: Ooh! Imagine if this was the shop loaner! Nobody would keep it instead of coming back for their own clunker.
