@Deere2154D It can be, IF you have the tools. If it is a bolt-in wheel bearing, that is a much different proposition to a press-in bearing.

@theundergroundlairofthesqu9261 I have a friend who WON'T figure out how to change a tire or even check their oil. Everything is sent to AAA or a mechanic. Not can't, but won't. It disgusts me.

My first step would be to unplug, check and clean the connection, re-plug and recheck. But then, I've owned Fords, and corrosion is part of their DNA that gets environmentally expressed up here in Massachusetts.

Before in-tire pressure sensors, or in cars that don't tell you WHICH tire is low, that is a way to find the 'mushy' tire as well.

@hotpuppy1 In many cases, Japanese law and culture reinforce each other. The defamation law there is weird, to an American. In Japan, you can tell the absolute truth, and be successfully sued for doing so.

@thewausaudude I can do most of the stuff that only requires a jack stand and a wheel chock. When it starts getting into needing to lift the whole vehicle, or rebuild major internal engine parts, I tap out. - More recently, where I live now I cannot do auto repair without risking my tenancy, so I can only do work on my car when I can get time in my brother's driveway.

@thewausaudude In my area I have seen tent-like winter enclosures for cars, boats and RV's that are about the size of a small garage, but as temporary structures don't usually require a building permit. Perhaps one of those would make a nice repair blind.

I'd go for two-part epoxy, if you want a permanent installation. Helps make the connection "flashlight gravity" resistant.
