@raphdroidt692 Yep, they really controlled Bernie when he was arrested for fighting for civil rights. And oh for sure when the majority of politicians and people were not for gay rights when Bernie was they sure had a tight control on him then lol Lets see, yes, when Bernie was just about the only politician against Obama's proposed Social Security cuts and started a movement to stop those cuts Obama had Bernie right where he wanted him LOL All the times on the voting floor such as when they were voting for the Iraq War and The Patriot Act Bernie blasting most of them out on both sides voting against them they had a tight control on Bernie then, right?! When they wanted Bernie to shut up about him wanting Medicare for all, raising the min wage, hours on the floor speaking against the tax cuts for the rich that was when they loved Bernie the most LOL Bernie sure gave them a lot of cover when most of the politicians were silent when the peaceful Native Americans were being brutalized at Standing Rock. Bernie just joined in on some of the Native Americans protesting and spoke out against that, that's all. Bernie protesting with union workers was another great example of how much they were controlling him LOL

Bernie has to work with them to get bills passed that we need or would you rather we get nothing?

Because of what progressives among them working people get in this bill it would not be totally accurate to say both parties have abandoned working people. If both parties had abandoned working people there would had been nothing in the bill for them, however, it would be more accurate to say the bill does not go far enough for working people and Bernie has acknowledged the bill doesn't go far enough! Also considering some Dems did vote to raise the min wage while no Republicans did is another reason it's not entirely accurate to say both parties have abandoned them.

@raphdroidt692 Are you a Republican? I can't think of any other reason why you would lie! When did he call them out? Lots of times! You must not had read my comment before replying to it and those are not the only times he called them out. Bernie even exposed Biden on National TV as a liar just to give another example but someone like you that will out right lie and it was a lie when you said he "never" calls them out doesn't care about hearing truth.

@bramptonjeff81 And while fighting for it Bernie can not make others vote for it and in the meantime we would have had nothing! You do realize there is a lot of people that rather get what is in this bill now than to take a chance on nothing as well as how much longer we would had waited or do you think yours is the only opinion that counts? Bernie does not always cave! Caving would had been not fighting for what we have got. Duh! You really have not been paying attention if you think Bernie could make Corp Dems do more LOL and they do have to vote on the bills, too. Why don't you run for office if you think you can do better??

@bramptonjeff81 Bernie can not pass raising the min wage by his self! Duh! But he forced a vote on that and he is for it himself but that doesn't matter to you so he should had never opened his mouth in support of it? I am sure Corp Dems and Republicans would love him a lot more if he kept his mouth shut! Bernie has also tried to get recurring checks which by the way I am totally against UBI!! I am sure when he got the stimulus added previously you rather have not had any added since it was not what you want? Stop thinking you are the only voice out there on what and how things should get passed. Even though some agree with you many disagree! I could care less on forcing votes when there is not enough votes to pass it. It's easy to find out who is for/against Medicare for all or raising the min wage. I don't hold Bernie as a savior as I don't agree with all of his votes but I agree with most and he sure is heck a lot better than the rest of them are. I know Bernie's record including his voting record as well as heard him many times on the House and Senate floor. Bernie is NOT weak! Are you a Jimmy Dore supporter? If so that explains your comments if you support Jimmy Dore who is a divisive hypocrite who was not even for the only candidate in the primary that was for Medicare for all (not Medicare for those that want it) but now Dore suddenly pretends to be for it LOL Did you vote for the only candidate during the primary that is for Medicare for all????

I am for raising the min wage, Medicare for all supporting the ONLY candidate during the primary that was for it (not Medicare for those that want it) but maybe Jimmy Dore is so well off he didn't need to support the only candidate for it and instead in addition to being a hypocrite he helped create a lot of division among progressives!! Is that who you do support? Bernie has voted enough against both parties and participated in enough protests that most in both parties do not support to prove he doesn't just use strong words! He puts action behind them but he can not force the others to vote the way he wants them to! What have you don't other than just using words?
