China is currently at peace and not at war with any country, since our last major conflict in 1979. Instead of making war, China is building infrastructure like roads, railways, highways, bridges, tunnels, powerstations, dams, ports, airports, etc and investing in developing countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and also African countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Chad, Sudan, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, etc.
Whereas the United States is warmonger being involved in Gulf War, Iraq War, Afghan War, Libyan War, Syrian War, Yemen War, etc, even in the 21st century. USA is bombing in those Middle Eastern countries and enacting regime change by cutting off their "heads" (Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, etc) and then installing their own US puppet governments in place. If anything, the U.S appears to be a threat to global peace and stability.

@MarkYeung1 You said: "with the government crackdowns on the business and tech sectors,"
Because China is exercising our anti-monopoly laws, cracking down on anti-competitive practices exhibited by Alibaba, Tencent, DiDi, etc, that make it more difficult for smaller firms in China to compete fairly with the bigger Chinese corporations. So actually, what the government did is beneficial for foreign companies, since it "frees up space" for companies to come and set up shop in China. Whereas in the United States for example, the big U.S monopolies like Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook dominate their respective markets and virtually eliminated competition from smaller American firms.

Cheng-Tso Hsieh China already hosts the world's largest population at around 1.4 billion people, so China has no real need for immigrants. At the most, Chinese immigration policy admits the bare minimum number of immigrants and no more than absolutely necessary. Priority citizenship is given to overseas born Chinese returning to the homeland, or to foreigners that have something to contribute (i.e doctors, lawyers, scientists, researchers, businessmen, technopreneurs, etc) to China.
Immigration brings with it social problems to locals, such as taking away jobs (whether real or perceived), displacing local populace, lack of assimilation into host country, and so on. Especially in America, where the immigration policy is so loose, that any foreigner who has a family or relative who is a U.S citizen, is already themselves applicable to become U.S citizens. That's why many foreigners marry Americans to gain citizenship, so that they can import their families over to USA, much to the disgruntlement of local Americans.

@MarkYeung1 "神州 Shenzhou So you admit the government crackdown has a negative effect on the economy"
Short term perhaps, but in the long term, it will be beneficial because those companies (i.e Alibaba, Tencent, DiDi, etc) lose their monopolistic hold over the market. The government cracking down on anti-competitive practices by these giants will actually increase the level of competition, allow smaller firms to compete with giants. Whereas if you look at the USA, the rich American monopolies like Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon can do whatever they want in their respective industries, either buying up or eliminating competition from smaller American firms.
