  1. I've read that the United States is the world's most protectionist country. According to Global Trade Alert, the U.S has over 800 protectionist measures, the EU has over 300, and China only has 200-300 of such measures in comparison.

I mean, say hypothetically, that I as a Chinese, married an American wife and have 2 half American children, surely that doesn't give me the right to tell Americans how to run their country.
