Zelenskyy: "You promised to support Ukraine till the end!" Biden: "This IS the end!"

In March 2022, Russian forces had Kiev surrounded, but Putin unilaterally withdrew Russian forces from Kiev as a gesture of goodwill, in order to create favorable conditions for peace talks. Talks that were later torpedoed by Boris Johnson.

Biden: "We will support Ukraine for as long as it takes!" After Oct 7, Biden: "We will support Ukraine for as long as we can!"

Hopefully the people of Taiwan island learn from Ukraine what happens when you have the US as an "ally."

@MarkYeung1 "Wasn't the invasion supposed to be over 3 days after February 24th, 2022?" Russia never claimed that it expected to capture Ukraine in three days, and the “three days” claim never existed anywhere outside of media in the west.

@MarkYeung1 "Their philosophies are the same." If their philosophies are the same, why did Putin call out the Canadian parliament for standing up and applauding a 98-year old Ukrainian SS veteran? Doesn't it appear that the Canadian government is the one sharing the same philosophy here?

@michaeljames2349 "Russia is supposed to be the second most powerful military in the world and they can’t even take Ukraine." Do you have any idea how big Ukraine is? It is the second-largest European country after Russia, yet Russia has already incorporated the 4 oblasts of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia. Not bad for the world's second most powerful military. Meanwhile, the world's most powerful military lost the Afghan War after nearly 20 years and pouring trillions of dollars in aid to Afghanistan. "Also don’t blame Ukraine for attacking Russian positions after being attacked." No, I'm blaming them for the indiscriminate targeting of Russian civilians in the border town of Belgorod.

@seancurran3034 This is a detailed reconstruction of the Ukrainian-Russian peace negotiations in March 2022 taken from Brave New Europe: Peace for Ukraine On March 28, Putin, as a sign of goodwill and in support of the peace negotiations, declared readiness to withdraw troops from the Kharkov area and the Kiev area; this apparently occurred even before his public announcement. –Brave New Europe: Peace for Ukraine

@robertjustinoff845 "Remember, Russia is still a nuclear power." Yeah, so is the United States of America. In fact, there's only one country in the world to have launched a nuclear strike, namely on Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
5
@michaeljames2349 "The Russians were defeated at every turn!" If that's the case then how did the 4 oblasts of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia end up joining the Russian Federation? "Also did you forget the rocket attacks on civilians?" You mean when Russia's border town of Belgorod was attacked by missiles from Ukraine?

@gothicserpent1093 "Gesture of good will.?.please what crap you are talking about" This is a detailed reconstruction of the Ukrainian-Russian peace negotiations in March 2022 taken from Brave New Europe: Peace for Ukraine. @borisreljanovic7292 "Gesture of goodwill? All I remember from the "3day special military operation"" Russia never assigned a deadline to the special military operation. The 3 Day limit was imposed on Russia by the MSM.

@robertjustinoff845 "You have also had that terrible nuclear disaster at Chernobyl in the 1980s." Chernobyl is not a nuclear strike. If you're counting this, then are you saying that Fukushima nuclear disaster is also a nuclear strike by Japan on itself? "Oh, but your not allowed to know about that disaster because your Russian and you live in an autocratic dictatorship state." What on Earth makes you think I am Russian?

@christopherhill3067 There were ongoing peace talks between Moscow and Kiev at that time, and the withdrawal of Russian forces from the Kiev region is a gesture of goodwill to create favorable conditions for Russia-Ukraine talks according to Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov.

@jerzbondon Do you label others as trolls just because we take a different view from you? Brave New Europe has an article entitled: Peace for Ukraine which is a detailed reconstruction of the Ukrainian-Russian peace negotiations in March 2022, which explicitly states that Putin withdrew Russian forces from Kiev as a gesture of goodwill. "On March 28, Putin, as a sign of goodwill and in support of the peace negotiations, declared readiness to withdraw troops from the Kharkov area and the Kiev area; this apparently occurred even before his public announcement." – Brave New Europe: Peace for Ukraine The report is authored by a former UN Assistant Secretary-General, Michael von der Schulenburg.

@bartonlee3594 "I love how all of the Chinese Nationalist Echo Chamber (CNEC) loves Putin." Lol, who ever said anything about Putin in this thread (before you specifically brought him up yourself)? People in this thread have been talking about Biden and the Republicans, how does that suddenly translate to Chinese talking about Putin?

@PepeCoinMania "The withdrawal of Russian forces from the Kyiv region is a gesture of goodwill to create favourable conditions for Russia-Ukraine talks." said Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov.

@normaaliihminen722 He's saying that the US Navy is spread thin all over the world, whereas the People's Liberation Army Navy (world's largest navy by number of ships) is mostly concentrated in the South China Sea and East China Sea region.
2
@bartonlee3594 Everyone's talking about Biden and the GOP here, why'd you suddenly bring up Chinese "nationalists" loving Putin? And funny how you keep talking about "echo chambers" when you're basically agreeing with them on Biden and the GOP.

@michaeljames2349 You said: "Russia is supposed to be the second most powerful military in the world and they can’t even take Ukraine." Do you have any idea how big Ukraine is? It is the second-largest European country after Russia, yet Russia has already incorporated the 4 oblasts of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia. Not bad for the world's second most powerful military. Meanwhile, the world's most powerful military lost the Afghan War to a bunch of insurgents after nearly 20 years and pouring trillions of dollars in aid to Afghanistan. Also, the world's most powerful navy is unable to protect ships passing through the Red Sea, instead the vessels are forced to make a huge detour. (Except for Russian and Chinese ships who are granted safe passage through the Red Sea) "Also don’t blame Ukraine for attacking Russian positions after being attacked." No, I'm blaming them for the indiscriminate targeting and killing of Russian civilians in the border town of Belgorod.

@kjnljlljj High-tech, but can the users operate them? Javelin anti-tank missile systems to Ukraine are not effective due to the complete lack of technical support, and the Ukrainian soldiers make use of Google Translate to read instructions.
