Don't focus too much on the genetic defects issue (as awful as it is) because there is an expensive medical solution the that (some form of genetic testing and IVF with genetic testing or some such)...so don't make a majornissue about something that has a solution. Make a major play about the cultural issue of family in-breeding, especially where the marriage is often arranged or even forced.
