@noahbrock349 the evidence is that parliamentary procedure was changed because of politicians who feared for their safety. One can argue whether that fear is valid, but they were in fear. One can argue whether this represents direct control by islamist or indirect control by islamists, but they were controlled by islamists in some way. Add in the fearful way that the police are tackling the pro-Palestinian marches...I think there is evidence that the supposedly neutral powers of government are changing their behaviour for fear of not being able to handle the repercussions of what would happen if they did their job properly.

@dirtycitydisco in an argument, your kind of comment is called an "ad hominem" fallacy or attack. An attack against the person rather than the argument. Never seen as a strong rebuttal of the argument. What was wrong with what Lee Anderson said?

@dirtycitydisco why do you call him 30p Lee?

@dirtycitydisco do you believe that parliamentary procedures were not changed because of fears that islamists would threaten or were threatening to break the law against British elected officials??

@dirtycitydisco why did parliamentary procedures change if not as a response to threats of violence, real or predicted?

@dirtycitydisco see, it wasn't that tough to string together a few thoughts into a coherent argument. Tha ks for doing that. I think that you give a good description of national identity andculture but i disagree that fear of loss of culture makes you far right. I might agree if you had said "inappropriate fear" of loss of culture...also suspect that we disagree with what you mean by "integrate". Can oil and water integrate? Is FGM and cousin marriage integration?? Is honour killing integration? Are anti-LGB values integration? Is the inability to form a queue integration? Is the inability to speak english fluently integration? Most people whom you label as far right are simply normal conservative people from the 1990s. The massive Blair initiated immigration plot ("rub their noses in diversity") has led to a stage in British political life where we need a Restorative Government rather than a conservative government; there is little remaining to conserve.
