Also the Germans themselves in their military academies never used the term "blitzkrieg" but instead described the strategy as "Bewegungskrieg" or "manoeuvre warfare", avoiding enemy strongpoints, penetrating deeply into enemy rear areas (Because they "do not like it up 'em missus"... OOOOO-EERRRR !!!!) surrounding enemy forces and destroying them piecemeal in a series of "Kesselschlacht " or "Cauldron battles".

The best people to have interviewed would have been the Belgians who lived in Liege on 6th August 1914, when they became the world's VERY FIRST VICTIMS of intentional aerial terror bombing, of course, as became the norm in the 20th century it was the Germans (on that occasion in their zeppelins) who were busy initiating the dropping of high explosive on innocent civilians.

  30. The song is obviously "A Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square", I've had a good search and found original recordings by Guy Lombardo, Vera Lynn, Turner Leyton, Larry Stewart & Mel Torme amongst others but not managed to find any that match this recording.
