I've been getting Rayman rays withdraws over the past week and a half. Welcome back. Note to self! Chase all the threads With just a bare block next time before last clean up before assembly. Ez with the tap you can get them out but if you bust one off in the block they are hard to get out. Taps are made out of tool steel the blocks an aluminum alloy. You burn them out with a torch i belive. I broke a few 18" long 3/8" dia drill bits off in the center of a piss poor connecting rods for a locomotive engine that was oil passages kept running into sand pockets in the castings. These parts were huge. One hole for the crank was 4.5" dia the piston side was 2.5" the total rod length was 24" long with the cap on. We worked on a block once they were really big. But not as big as the motors used on big ships. They can be as large as your whole shop. Just the block.

Sure, do all the Fun part then give it to the new guy! Lol No its probably the smart thing to do because now your arms are wet noodles. Your ass is going to hurt the next 3 days. Id hate to get in an arm wrestling match with the guy at the factory who does these all day long at the factory. 2 hits slap your hand back of hand hits the table. Next sucker!
