Best advice, customer, dose not get the option of gasket repairs on a used motor when your putting in a salvaged motor, you just change it and charge for the gasket and time But let them know its going to cost more.

I would not give any warranty on a junkyard engine, and most salvage yards only give 90 days at most not including labor back in the day i bought junk yard parts. 0 warranty on electronic parts none returnable. You can't give work away. Plus they went to walmart for a oil change most likely used a none syntheic oil where as the synthetic Oil might have rejuvenated the seal's and stopped any leaks The conventional oil will not. With the amis oil you can go 5k miles not sure what they recommend. Your better off with a high quality oil in a newer car and or used engine. I get a kick at some of this newer cars on" just rolled in" After what the CEO of Chrysler said I'd have serious doubts about working on any of the brands they sell including Jeep. One guy i know had his Jeep motor changed 3 times and it was a newer model Thats how piss poor these cars are for quality. Once was factory warranty he had to fight to get Second time it blew up, he had to pay for it was past warranty, last time sane old shit and because that mechanic messed up. Even you see these cars dropping like flys. Its sad, but you would have better luck with a Predator motor from harbor fright.
