Just a thought, i belive on the transverse mounted 6 cylinder engines you must pull the intake manifold and cawl off the car to get at the back spark plugs valve cover and coils and plugs its advisable to change the back bank of coils, saving the old ones for use on the frt side of the motor. In labor cost i belive your money ahead to change them any time you do plugs on the back bank. A modren plug set can last 100k or more miles coils have about the same life span, but even if they last longer you will always have 3 spair ones to use on the frt side of the motor where its very little work to get to them.

ALL YOU TOYOTA mechanics ive got one question, but first some back story. Out 2012 scion TC uses 0 w20 toyota oil, i asked about putting it in my 2001 toyota celica with the standard 5 speed motor not the faster motor, i was told by the parts counter guy not to use it in that motor, but id like to switch to synthetic oil. Is that true the car has almost 300k miles on it, and ive had always been bad about changing oil on that car it also has vvt engine and a timing chain not belt.
