  3. I can tell you from exp, never hit tge hand brake or parking brake at high speed full on unless your ready to put flat spots on your tires and do doughnuts down the highway, because the car will go into a spin and at 65mph you have no control.

  4. 10:20 I would assume you have a slave cylinder on the top one side and bottom other side, because that GM adjust the parking brake by driving backward and pressing the pedel at low speed they should auto adjust by applying force at low Speed a few times. I mean under 5 mph going backward stop and rel parking brake, it works unless it has a bunch of dust built up on the componets. My dad told me that about 50+ years ago. Its funny my Toyota's have the levers facing up on one side and down on the other does the same thing. But they are hand brakes. But my 64ss impla i had years ago with a foot parking brake had something like the hand brakes did but it was Drum rear brakes.
