@Scuba_Rocky Jean's argument isn't about feelings, it's about lack of adequate public transport. This isn't going to be getting any better, as people live longer, and zoning law keeps retail separate from residential.

@Scuba_Rocky By 21 years old, my friend had racked up a few cars. My ex, regular accidents from high risk choices (crossing 3 lanes, versus shopping plaza's traffic light exit). My point being age doesn't determine competence at driving. And if we're going to veer off into "selfish", a) none more so than parents pushing Jr to drive, while still incompetent and b) you - all drivers over age [scientifically determined] because you're having a problem with some elder. And I'm not trying to pick a fight here, but broadbrushing who's competent and selfish are subjective.

As though these accidents ONLY happens to elderly drivers. Jim, you have "issues". The most deadly are teenagers and in particular males under 25. Every single year, due to her harpie children, my elderly friend in her 90s, takes a driving test, and has no problem passing.

@stanmarsh9984 Are elder the only ones who accidentally drive wrong way on a highway? No, but they are the only ones having hoopla over their age blamed for their mistakes. I'm not elderly, so all your "your" and "you're" and "you" are presumptions.

@Scuba_Rocky Driving manual, when I first got a license, said 70% of accidents involving motorcycles are clearly the car drivers fault. I can believe that, as they fit perfectly in wing-man blind spot. Up this way, New England, it's a car load of teenagers who mainly kill off themselves.
