I'm shocked there are any small businesses left. There won't be soon, the goal is we buy everything including "meal packages" from Amazon. Oh, we won't decide what to eat anymore, it's a "package" world, every dinner "nutritionally balanced" by the same scientific "experts" who can't agree on covid numbers, masks, or the global warming that isn't happening.

@Chad Mulligan < I'm not 110 so unlike you, I won't talk about what I don't know. I am 60, and can assure you today's world is NOT easier than 1970 was. Sure, we can DO a lot more faster and sitting in the chair. But we MUST do more and more, faster and faster, to pay the bills. Look how many young are buying "retro" music gear, and wanting to learn what we grew up knowing. And the chair? I prefer hands-on physical work, and I have something when I'm finished that doesn't vanish when I turn the computer machine off. If you pay ANY attention at all to Sci-fi, you'll know we COULD just become easier and more auto computerized to the point human life is not needed at all, or at least there's no great reason to get out of the bed. Or chair.
