@YourPrivateEye In case you missed it, Chai-nah flooding last year swept their year's worth of rice crops that were sitting on docks waiting to be shipped clean down their disgusting polluted rivers. Complete loss. Now why they're being hateful to us while we're sending them food is a mystery. But not uncommon. Tired - unwinding - that's when I watch my cats play, or play a video game myself.

@YourPrivateEye Oooooh Metro, can't wait, I bought all 3 on GOG a while ago. Also Warhammer Mordheim, and Mechanicus Omnissiah Edition. But just now, my guy LOVES the original 4 King's Bounty games. Hates the new King's Bounty II, but plays the old ones over and over. I found him an excellent mod for the Dark Side to change it up, and now he wants me to make him a mod for Armored Princess, so I'm muffing about with that, and my 3D animation stuff. Just finished playing Eisenwald Blood of November (again). Far Cry Primal is in the back of my mind, and just found a beautiful book on its art and tips and tricks at the used book monger. Have high hopes for the new Avatar game not released yet, but they first told me about it 3 years ago.... and Hogwarts will be a must buy.

@YourPrivateEye Yes, Avatar! Long story - sorry, here goes. I have the original Avatar game installed on my win8 machine AND I made an install dvd because it was download only. When I got my win10 machine, I clicked up Ubisoft to see had they done an update. It was GONE. So I emailed. Yes, gone, some sort of copyright dispute, but my game still played fine. So I asked can I install on my 10 since it's no longer in the library? The guy said probably. I was a tiny bit cranky..... I said, Well I WAS going to film a play-through of it (and ask about music copyright), but since it's no longer for sale, whatever. He said, "No please, DO a Let's Play. It will help us launch the NEW one we're making." So that was 3 years ago. I just checked Ubi, it's a prequel, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, to be released this year. I did NOT make the Let's Play of the original, we're restoring a 1910 house, and I tore down the front porch and made a new on with a big balcony I can tote my stuff out and do my work on, so busy with that, I didn't make any films. Now that YouBoob has decided small parttime channels like me can't even make pizza money, I don't know if I will ever bother - I got gigged for 453 game films for music, NOT from the publisher, but from another YTuber who thought I might take a nickel away from him, so I pulled those down. Why should he make money from my work. I have, and do enjoy streaming on Twitch, I MAY do that again later this year. Modding... well I do grasp code some, and I'm great with graphics. Mostly I'm doing it for him, his fave game and all. I will probably release the mod, and maybe some gameplay on it, don't know, I'm quirky! I will of course buy the new Avatar! So many games, so little time, because I really like my real life work.

@YourPrivateEye Yeah, and it's a thought now that I'm retired but miss working. But I have other skills. I'm trying to sort it out. We're buskers. You give away your best work and hope someone drops $5 a month into the guitar case. Maybe I have too much ego from 2 successful careers. Maybe I should retool the brain. Just don't see myself begging for spare change. Of course one CAN make it big. Bottom line for me - CAN an ugly old boomer bat make it big???

@YourPrivateEye One thing I really DON'T want to do is sell "merch". Cheap Chai-nah junk. And yet I hear the viewers ASK for it from other streamers who don't do it either.
