  1.  @cabbage4994  I'm a retired lapidary, so I've worn masks against silica dust, oil mist so fine it takes 24 hours to settle, and I've worked with fiberglass. I wear a mask now if I'm somewhere it will makes others happy or more comfortable. And frankly a mask makes me look 30 years younger! I think my thing with them is I don't appreciate being told what to do, especially when "the science" can't agree - and IF they worked we wouldn't be now told to wear 2 or 3 of them at once. I'm not into biology much, but know enough that flu germs are way small enough to pass through the fabric mesh of the normal mask. Really, I just don't want to look like "radio free Chyyna". I'm also not a vegan, I live how I like, not how New York and Hollywood tell me. And if my guy ever wear a suit with sneakers, I'll clock him.

  2.  @cabbage4994  Sorry to be so long, had to go out. Lol, most around here only wear suits to funerals and sometimes weddings. But how smart or in style you are depends on where you live and who you live around. Sneakers with a suit here would be taken as a sign of wanting attention. Oh, we're quirky like hell though. I'm not copying anyone, I did it before she was hot - I dress much like Stevie Nicks, boots and all, and always have. My guy refuses to wear denim in a town where most do.

  3. I will NEVER speak, dress, or act in any way Chyyna demands, and that includes wearing an idiot mask unless I'm in a care home or hospital where it makes sense. Actually I will go out of my way to make sure I'm not ACCIDENTALLY following Chyyna dictates, which is the same as what Demos will show on television as the latest "cool" thing.

  4. ​ @Barry Allen < They do well if you cough or sneeze. Israel news reports they have a mask that actually does work, not sure if they're widely available yet.

  5. Interesting note - in my town of 10,000+ about 1/3 don't wear masks, many of those older people. About 1/3 do, but only over their mouth, leaving their noses uncovered. The third that rig up like hazmat are generally between 20 and 30 years old. And we've had VERY little covid, 5 people got it in the beginning - after returning from a tourist trip to Chyyna, and they all recovered.
