  1. It was the Bren Gun that was under-loaded by a two or three rounds. Rim lock is very rare with the Lee-Enfield magazine, and the number of rounds loaded does not make a difference.

  5. Too complex, too heavy and fired another unnecessarily powerful cartridge. And they weren't keen on en bloc clips.
