  1. Christmas has nothing to do with the Druids. It was developed to counter the SATURNALIA which was a ROMAN festival of giving, from master to slave, and celebrated around December 25. There is no connection to the Druids who are a very localaised pagan group only in the UK. Saturnalia was celebrated throughout the Roman world... it was much more important than the Winter solstice.
