Hand Solo According to the data covid targets the old and sick people. They can be protected whilst the rest of us can get in with life. The lockdown measures imposed on us are what is destroying our economies not the virus. Old and sick people don't contribute to our economies.

@vanzyceberus2615 So what's going to happen from now on? The virus is not going to disappear. We can't afford to stay closed to the rest of the world forever. The vaccine may never happen and if it does it won't be 100% effective. Seems like there's no long term plan. Herd immunity is how we dealt with previous viruses until now. What's different about now?

Hitler had a large government controlling information and propaganda, although businesses in Germany were privately owned the Nazi government controlled the means of production, distribution and pricing. @Jerry-rr4vk The problem with publicly owned corporations is that they are run by government. Politicians. And governments are not very efficient in delivering services or goods. Because of my previous argument that the best leaders choose to work in the private sector that pays better and we get the rubbish in our government.

@Jerry-rr4vk You left out the Chinese elites funding Labor. And in any case you're right this world is run by elites of your definition but that will always be the case regardless of which party is in power. They're all as corrupt as each other. That's why I always vote for minor parties.
