Copyright issues, maybe? They would have had to pay to use his music, maybe, although I think using short clips would be "fair use," and no problem. Maybe just too much trouble, considering how many videos they crank out.

"The most important," dear God. Why limit it to Rock and Roll? I think he's right up there with Abraham Lincoln as the greatest American to ever live. And I'm beginning to have my doubts about Lincoln.

So what happened? Did you win? Were you suing Paul McCartney, who owns the publishing rights to Buddy's songs? What happened to the other brother? Details, man, details.

@joeyanny8018 Astonished (and very impressed) that you replied. Thank you. You sound like a class act. They were probably lucky to have you representing them.

Bobby Vee was a little more than that, though not really a major talent. Bob Dylan, still Bobby Zimmerman and still in his teens, attended one of the concerts on that tour, and, I think, played briefly with Bobby Vee at one point. He was from Minnesota, of course.

@mgcnashville6615 I'm going to side with Erica on this one, to some extent. I have no reason to doubt you knew Waylon, or question your motives for posting. The issue for me is people rushing to post some factoid about a video (which is pretty much common knowledge) without bothering to check that 8 or 10 others have already posted the exact same thing.
