  1. "Barely" is too strong. They had a rough outline that could have been developed into a first-draft sketch... If they Ukrainians didn't constantly meddle in the process! :P

  2. Just walk straight to the nearest Ukrainian position. They will give them food, sanitary bathroom facilities, a bed to sleep in and a convincing story to the Russians about how they were forced to surrender at gunpoint once it comes time to exchange POWs. The whole process will be faster, safer and more comfortable than trying to walk home to whichever minority region they were drafted from.

  3. By the look of the trash there... this wasn't done by the recent influx. That was years of neglect. Possibly even squatters living there because the facility was empty.
