  1. While I would love to see that I don't think the time frame is anywhere near realistic. And once it becomes obvious to everyone that Ukraine is going to gain air superiority Russia is going to scoot for whatever reason they happen to conjure up. I don't think we'll ever see a head-on assault by Ukraine. They don't want that kind of casualties when patience and precision attacks will do the same trick, just over a longer period of time.

  2. Can we stop calling freedom fighters "partisans"? Partisans is what Russia used to "booby trap" the Donbas region prior to the invasion. People living there, who're fed up with Russian occupation, and who're not going to sit on their hands until the Ukrainian army comes around, are not partisans. They're freedom fighters. That's what we called them during WWII, so that's what we should call them now.
