I used to think all the "Guess the country" memes (where the implied answer is always Russia) were just poking fun of a people who got the short end of the post-communism stick. Not in a million years had I guessed that these memes weren't even scratching the surface of the social, emotional and cognitive dysfunction of the Russian culture. "ISIS is fighting Russian disinformation" sounds exactly like "The Sahara desert is facing a severe shortage of sand", "Iran in fierce bid to become the world capital of homosexuality" or "Hell froze over. Skiing vacation prices plummet 86%". YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP!
