  1. The answer is yes and it's not because of the war though that is accelerating it. The stark truth is though, that it's not the only one. China too, is in serious trouble and so is most of Europe. Whether any or all of these actually collapse or not remains to be seen but there are serious challenges ahead for all of them.

  2.  @chuapg1518  Well, if you believe so strongly in the economies of Russia and China, go ahead and put your money where your mouth is; invest a ton into each... and borrow heavily to do so. After all, why not? They're going to "save the world", aren't they? Me, I hold US dollars and invest in US companies, particularly those which are leading the re-shoring of domestic manufacturing and high tech production. Check back with me in 5 years. We'll see who the smart one was.
