  1. It's an argument rooted in envy. You have something that someone else doesn't so you must have stolen it, been gifted it or got it through some means other than your own hard work so the coveters feel they have to shame you for it or attack you. There are so many examples of this and it starts in childhood. Some kid has a cool toy and later on a cool car or the hot girlfriend. The snide comments never stop. If you had $500 to your name and wanted to leave your country, no one would care.
