  1. The US used nuclear bombs on Japan, dumdum. Does Japan border the US? Was there a risk of fallout affecting US territory? Were there mass formations of US troops on the ground in Japan when the bombs were dropped? What Friedman says is 100% true and you don't have to be very bright to see that the current situation is vastly different to Japan in WW2.
