  2. It's a ploy. He's angling for a settlement.... and he'll get it. I said from the start that his bosses at CNN knew full well what he was up to. In fact, they probably supported him and maybe even helped him. The only reason he was let go was that he was no longer useful to them... his brother was no longer NY governor... and he committed the one unforgivable sin - getting caught. He knows FAR more about CNN's involvement in this mess (and maybe lots of other things too) than CNN would ever want to be made public and if his case ever went to trial, public is what it would all be. They'll pay him off to keep his mouth shut.
