  1. I don't buy these half-hearted and coerced apologies from politicians about stuff like this or most anything else, really. If you have to be pressured to issue an apology, you're not really sorry, you're just doing what you're told. She said it which means she was thinking it. A person can think something without saying it but they can't say something without thinking it. She said what she was thinking, she said what she meant and she meant what she said. There's an end of it. She's not sorry for saying it, she's sorry she got in trouble for it.
