Personally, I agree completely however it looks as though that ship has sailed and we're now back in the familiar old territory of "let's get a deal; ANY deal, because WE are uncomfortable." This war has been abysmally handled from day one by every nation. Before day one actually, because I firmly believe that a robust show of force before a shot had been fired would have stopped it before it had even started. But like so many times throughout history, we don't do that sort of thing because it's so much easier to bury our heads in the sand and pretend reality is something else. Then when things are much too far gone, we send the younger generations out onto the battlefields to pay for our mistakes with their lives. And we wonder why recruiting is in the toilet.
