  1. It's not much wonder there's such a goddam climate panic infused into our psyches when the media makes a totally normal weather event seem like an emergency. I've been in Edmonton now going on 25 years and today's weather is noticeable but still on the low side of what I've witnessed over my time here. For the love of God, calm the f*ck down! It's Edmonton, it's February and it's >30cm. This is a f*cking snow day, NOT a news story! Quit making every little thing into an emergency and trying to whip up a panic over nothing.
