Contrary to your "expert," I think Trump and Pierre would actually get along quite well and have a very harmonious and productive relationship. They are of like mind on most things and while I don't expect that Pierre would or even could fix all of Trudeau's disasters right off the bat, he would at least acknowledge that there are problems and would demonstrate a willingness and an eagerness to find solutions to them and I believe Trump would cut him a lot of slack for that approach. Trump clearly does NOT like or respect Trudeau. He's well aware of Trudeau's attitude towards him and the things he's said about him. He knows he's dead man walking at this point and as a result, is unlikely to engage in any serious discussions with him. Pierre, with a fresh mandate and a fresh and eager team, would find a much more receptive partner. But then, what do I know? I'm not an expert.
