  1. It's not that hard. The basic steps are.... 1. Identify a sympathetic audience. 2. Tell them everything they want to hear, cater to their fears and prejudices and confirm everything they already believe to be true. 3. Set the other side up as the bad guys, denigrate them relentlessly and blame them for everything. 4. Suppress any alternative viewpoints. 5. Appeal to patriotism. Disinformation is nothing new and you'll find it just about everywhere. It has always worked and continues to work based on the facts that people will always believe what they want to believe and that it's far easier to fool someone than to get them to accept that they've been fooled.

  2. I honestly can't decide what I'm more shocked at....... This bombshell that liberals are hypocrites..... I mean, come on; who knew???..... or that some actual journalism happened at the NY Times. The countdown starts to when the first liberal brands the NY Times as a conservative disinformation rag.
