  1. I would support anything that weakens Russia and strengthens the EU and NATO. I've been thinking all along that Moldova should have invited several thousand NATO troops in as "guests" the minute the Ukraine war started as kind of a .... "Don't even think about it!.... to Russia. For that matter, Ukraine itself should have done the same thing and then we wouldn't even be in this mess but that's a matter for another day. I'm neither Moldovan nor Romanian so I have no opinion on whether they should unify other than to say that I would warmly welcome the Moldovan people into both the EU and NATO and if unification with Romania is the route they choose to do so, and if that's what the peoples of both countries feel is right and natural, I'll support it.
