People seem to complain about stereotypes but in a formal culture no doubt a pigeon-hole to "deal with a situation" in a ritualized manner is probably what is going on? I mean the "sexy latin" thing is just a place-holder: Somewhat true and somewhat intended to flatter in public. I think a lot of people use their ego to interpret reality and then react "oh that's so x! oh my life will never be the same!" But if they understood people just use cookie-cutter models for dealing with situations they might realize there's very little personal attribution - the opposite in fact. In many cultures, everyone is obsessed with ego and self... and reflect everythin in the world via those filters. I think Japan might do things in public differently? If you listen to autistic people, they often say, working out a "method" to deal with a given situation then execute that, is a method to be able to work in social environments. Another interesting observation, people should learn the language. But even then learning the Kanji and Keigo and pitch is needed and then after that... the body-language as well... I think there is a lot to learn and not to judge too quickly until one has full understanding first. To judge prematurely without understanding based on one's own perceived emotions: What is that type of behaviour called?

@eltecnico9541 Yes, that is true, often "warmer" is the description/expression as compared to more Northern cultures. Like all generalities it might be a tendency but it's not a personality.
