  1. Very good luck to you: Find the best resources and methods for learning the language then put a plan together and study very hard with passion! USA is almost the size of a continent and very diverse so I'm sure there are many good areas but I get the impression there's many bad areas too. Japan is tough but maybe the effort is worthwhile for in comparison such a small country?
